THE SCOOP: With an extra-special emphasis on business resources on the Web
(on request of the program arrangers), plus an assortment of many other
types of valuable, eye-opening, and even fun websites (Yes! Fun! We said
Fun!), we'll walk through LII.org together in a lively presentation
highlighting our quality portal, how we got it that way, and our
super-secret tips and tricks (some so secret we put them on our website in
our online help files--but that's o.k., we don't read help files, either!). 

You'll learn how everyone can get the most out of LII, you'll find out why
you simply CANNOT be the last librarian in LibraryLand to subscribe to our
free weekly newsletter, you'll get our five-minute "Ah hah!" presentation on
getting started with RSS (come on, you know you want to learn about RSS!),
and you'll hear our plans for responding to what we like to think of as our
"evolving budget paradigm." 

PLUS--tech alert--you'll get an extra-special, super-early sneak preview on
a fabulous new thingy (funded through this year's grant) we'll be unveiling
before the barbecue grills light up on Labor Day weekend, so top secret this
will be the ONLY public viewing prior to its debut. 

Oh, but it gets better: thanks to the Public Library Association, we'll have
a LIVE Internet connection, so the program should be dynamic, fun, and
