We currently have a 20-year-old 3M security system for materials, so
needless to say, we've budgeted for an upgrade this fiscal year.  However,
the amount it will cost us to upgrade to another 3M system is high enough
that our city will ask for price quotes from three sources.

I could go the "sole source" route, and will if I have to. We've been
completely happy with 3M for all these years. But I've heard that there are
other security systems that are compatible with the 3M Tattle Tape, which is
what we use.  One of the companies is Certus.

Does anyone out there use this company or any other that works well with the
3M Tattle Tapes?  Any input would be greatly appreciated.
