[Publib] Request for Moving Advice

Good morning.

We are in the process of opening a new library--moving our existing collection as well as adding new books.  Our collection size will roughly double and our floor space will increase by ten times.  (Yes, the new building is l-o-n-g overdue. :-)

We have arranged for the new books to be delivered and put on empty shelves before the existing collection moves into the new building.  

If anyone has been through a similar move recently we would be interested in any advice, tips, or tricks you have regarding nitty-gritty, how-to logistics of:

1. Receiving the new collection

2. Moving the old collection

Please feel free to respond off-list, and I will compile the answers for everyone if there is interest.
