Are there any libraries that market their services directly to certain patron groups? Meaning the business community, home schoolers, seniors, etc. Not just regular library services but ones that might specifically benefit that patron group like introduction to computers for seniors, business resources for the business community, that sort of thing. If your library does such things, please answer the following questions:

If you do offer special services do you market it to all patrons or target specific patrons?

Do you offer services to non-patrons?

How do you market the service? Which method is the most successful?

What sorts of special services do you offer? What's the response rate?

When do you offer these services? During open hours or after hours?

Do you offer one-on-one services? If so, what type and who are they for?

Please answer off list. I'll compile replies and send them to anyone who is interested.

Thank you!
