LIBRARY DIRECTOR

Broome County Public Library, located in Binghamton, New York, seeks a 
dynamic individual to manage its modern central library of 37 FTE staff, 
with a total operating budget of $2.4M, serving a county population of 
200,000. The library also serves as central library in the Four County 
Library System, operating the SIRSI/Horizon online catalog.

Salary: $63,400/yr. NYS Retirement, excellent benefits.

Qualifications: Master's Degree from an ALA accredited library science 
program, plus eight years of professional library experience, including 
considerable management, public relations, personnel and planning experience.

Incumbent must be a resident of Broome County at the time of appointment 
and possess a NY Public Librarian's Professional Certificate.
