Was the customer objecting to *all* graphic novels being in YA, or *some*?
If the latter, I can understand--not all graphic novels are written for and
marketed to teens (or even children). Graphic novels are like any other
media--for all ages, with different levels of subject matter.

We have a customer objecting to a graphic novel in the YA collection. My
city manager has asked me to check to see whether other small public
libraries in rural areas have graphic novel collections, where they are
shelved, and which libraries have had objections filed. Please excuse any
cross-posting.
