I've had exactly the same thing happen! Violence okay - body parts, not okay! It's still up to the parents...

Long ago, when I was a circulation clerk, a child about 8 yrs old approached
the desk with a video, accompanied by mom and dad. A coworker, attempting
to be helpful, quietly told the parents that she had seen the movie and that
it contained graphic, bloody violence. The parents replied, "As long as
nobody's naked we don't care." Then they made it clear that they were not
happy about the uninvited input.
