It has been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, so bad that by 3:30
I was writing 2007 for the year and was having trouble coming up with the
names of coworkers.  Imagine my joy when a short time ago I finally got to
open my e-mail and saw the subject line:Substitute for Scotch and."  Scotch
and rum (in honor of Capt. Jack Sparrow)?  Scotch and bourbon?  Scotch and
Merlot?  Whatever it was, I could use a good non-alcoholic substitute to get
me through today.  What a disappointment to discover it was Scotch and book
tape.  Maybe sniffing blu tac or poster putty will help.
