We have had numerous dealings with similar companies. Request written
proof of the authorization and they should go away. Good luck- they can
be very persistent and a pain in the "tush". :-) I went so far with one
or two to tell them to contact my lawyer and they would then go skulking
away quietly. We paid a few before we caught on though.

Has anyone had any dealings with Better Global Business
Communications?  We have some how ended up on some sort of listing
from them, and they sent us a cd-rom, and now claim that we owe them
$514.00.  When we told them we didn't want the product, we were told
that since we were already in the listing, we still owed the money.  I
am nearly certain that this is a scam.

They claim to have an audio recording of one of our staff members
agreeing to all of this.

Has anyone else had a run in with this company (or others using
similar techniques) ?
