Hi Adelaide. Many thanks for the suggestion. I will certainly take a look
at Buzzflash. Put your mind at ease about the New Haven Free Public
Library. As a matter of a fact, if you check our catalog
(www.cityofnewhaven.com, click on library) you will find out that we don't
have The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam. I have been making the same
suggestions to my collegues here that I did on PUBLIB. I myself have
donated at number of the conservative leaning books that we have in our
collection. (and will probably donate the Politically Incorrect Guide to
Islam as soon as I finish reading it).
The problem is that many conservative titles often don't even show up in
what we use to order books from. And if you do stumble across one, it's
not reviewed anywhere "mainstream" or places most people look. You really
have to hunt for it and most of us don't have time so I've taken an interest.
I think that about covers it! Enjoyed the dialogue. My mother's family
was from Springfield, Illinois as much as I miss it, if I remember the
winters correctly, they're brutal!
Take care,
Sheila Bonenberger
