Nann,
We close for both 24/25 and 31/1. This year we closed Friday and
Saturday, figuring that since so many of our patrons were off on the
Mondays we should be open. This is my first day back from vacation and I
haven't had a chance to check on how busy we actually were. We plan to
do the same thing next year- at least at his point. Staff were paid for
Friday and Saturday and took an additional day off during the week so
they only "worked" or were paid for five days. Hope this helps, Mary

December 25, 2006, and January 1, 2007, will be on Monday.  
 
My question to those libraries that observe holiday time on December 24
and December 31 as well 
and ESPECIALLY to those libraries that are not open on Sunday anyway:
how do you schedule 
those holidays?
