Pat,
Our local garden club decorates the library each year for us for the
holidays . This year the tree was up before Thanksgiving because that's
when they were available. We do a combination of Christmas and winter
decorations- snowmen, penguins. It works very well to have them do it
and then they come back and take them down after the new year. We have
not notices any increase in requests for the decorations this year- but
that could be because they were up so early. :-) Mary S.

Subject: [Publib] Seasonal decorations
I scanned the archives but could not find anything on the topic for this
year even though I remember seeing postings about the issue.
Are libraries finding a greater insistence on Christmas decorations this
year than in past years and how are they handling those requests?
