Since our regular Sunday hours are noon to 5:00, our Board of Trustees
decided to close the libraries on both Dec. 24 and 31 in 2006. On the
day before major holidays we close at 3:00. Our Board thought it did not
make good business sense to open and staff our branches for only 3
hours. These are usually very light days anyway.

December 25, 2006, and January 1, 2007, will be on Monday.

My question to those libraries that observe holiday time on December 24
and December 31 as well
and ESPECIALLY to those libraries that are not open on Sunday anyway:
how do you schedule
those holidays?
