Thank you kindly to all who sent me suggestions for children's
librarianship blogs. Sorry for the delay in summarizing for the list. I
hope the people who made suggestions to me don't mind, but I am sharing
their original annotations (edited somewhat) because I think the context
is useful. This is an excellent start (esp. since many of these blogs
will lead you to many more that are out there).
Thanks again!

Three Recommendations
http://www.hbook.com/blog/ Read Roger is a good one too - it's written
by the editor of the Horn Book.
Roger Sutton, editor of The Horn Book, has a blog, which mostly deals
with children's literature rather than children's librarianship, but of
course there is some overlap.
Two Recommendations
There was a woman who was blogging about children's librarianship at
http://yourfairybookmother.typepad.com/your_fairy_bookmother/, but she
hasn't written anything in quite a long time.
One Recommendation
http://fusenumber8.blogspot.com/index.html By an NYPL children's
librarian (extensive blogroll, focuses entirely on children's
literature)
http://kidslit.menashalibrary.org/ by Tasha Saecker, director of the
Menasha Public Library (extensive blogroll)
I'm currently doing a Year of the Teen project in Central Massachusetts
and I've started a blog on teen-related topics for librarians. It's at
http://yearoftheteen.edublogs.org.
One of the librarians in my region writes a blog on children's
literature, mostly reviews of new books. Her blog is Children and Books,
and is at http://www.abbykingsbury.org/blog/. She won't be posting
until later this month due to computer problems, though.
http://paradigmlibrary.blogspot.com/ covers YA librarianship in
Australia and has some great posts.
I very, very occasionally blog about children and/or teens; the relevant
entries are here: http://www.newrambler.net/lisdom/category/kids/.
http://www.justonemorebook.com/ (thrice-weekly podcasts with discussions
of children's books)
http://www.greenlakelibrary.org/kidslit/ Here's one done by one of our
member library directors.
Roxanne Feldman has gathered a good group of blogs on children's
literature on her website at http://www.fairrosa.info/bloglist.html
Library Goddesses (http://librarygoddesses.blogspot.com) It is fairly
new, I think, but looks like a good one to me.
