[Publib] computer use counters

[Hopkins County - Madisonville Public Library]

We use Time Limit Manager. Not only do we get the sessions timed by this,
but we can also get a count of usage for each day. I can put stations into
different pools & find out how many times each 'pool ' has been used, even
how many times each individual station has been used. I can get information
on average session length, & total 'inactive' time. We have signup sheets
where the patron puts their name & station number, but these are destroyed
at the end of the day.

Oops!  I hit send before I was finished!  We do not keep the info by patron
number, but machine number only (ie Computer #, time on, time off), then we
destory the written records.  I'd be happy to provide the details of the
database if you'd like.

that keeps track of login/logon's?  I suspect that login with library card
barcode is best.  It would be great if someone had shareware, but that's
probably not realistic.
