[Publib] Self Check-out and Reserves

My library is installing Self-Serve Check out machines and I was wondering  
what people in libraries that already use it think of it.  We are also  going 
to start allowing patrons to pick up their own reserves without having to  see 
an employee for them.  If anyone works in a library that does this, I  would 
like to know how you put out the reserves so that the patrons privacy is  
maintained and what you do to insure that the wrong person does not pick up  
another person's book.
