Sue;
We set up a "virtual branch" at our Senior Center. With the exception
of some magazines, the branch has no holdings - everything is done via
online holds. We deliver and pick up items three times a week, and have
decided not to charge fines on overdue items they check out. In
addition, we added a week to the checkout time to account for delivery
and pickup delays.
Since many of the seniors are not very computer savvy, we taught the
Senior Center staff the procedure for placing holds on their behalf.

On a note about losing circulation in the libraries, does anyone have
any suggestions on how to provide access to group home/senior living
non-registered patrons?
Thanks,
