Karen makes excellent comments.  Mine are these:
 
One thing I've found is that patrons seeking large-print books are often  
frustrated by the lack of titles and/or the poor selection at most  libraries.  
People are living longer, and living with poorer vision.   Newer Ebook readers 
allow magnification of text--if you don't think that's  valuable, take off 
your glasses.  
 
I see a future in which libraries will offer ebook loads for free to  
patrons, even as they do books now.  Let's see who's first to grab ahold of  this 
idea.
