I may also be joining this debate late, but when I read one reply in particular from the archive of this thread I was a little peturbed to say the least. I too am a "dreaded twenty-something" but to say that "Porn is not that big of a deal anymore" ??? I beg to differ! Perhaps you should do some research on the treatment of the women who work in the porn industry and note that porn has become more and more violent because it must continually be seen as "pushing the envelope" to keep people's interest. Then you should think about how seeing that sexualized violence might affect the people involved, the people watching it (who may, in a public library setting, be children or young people or adults) and then ask yourself if it really isn't a big deal.
