[Publib] children's area ideas

We are renovating the library and the children are getting a new area. Lots of oppourtunity
for redesign. We are looking for ideas on two specific features and anything else you might
want to add.

Do you have tiered seating in a story time program area? How well does it function?  Do
children like it?  Do they climb all around on it in a good way or can they be disruptive?  Are
the children "safe" on the tiered seating?  How it is used when a program is not happening?
Is it easy to keep clean? Is it a "space hog" limiting flexibilty of the room?

Does your library have a bathroom in or near the children´s area that is just for children.  If
yes, do you see it as a necessary thing, or could the children just as well have been able to
use a nearby "regular" bathroom?  If you don´t have one, do think it would be highly
desirable?

Is there anything about your children´s area that is so superb we should know about?  Do tell!

Thanks for you input in helping us with our new children´s area.
