Have everybody bring in 2 books they've read and enjoyed and give  
everybody a chance to tell at least 3 other people about the books  
they like, so everybody walks away knowing about new titles and new  
stuff about colleagues.

Do a communal reading map of staff expertise for display in the staff  
room.

Invite a couple local genre writers in to talk about their genres.

Have a NoveList tournament. Give dual pairs of staff, depending on  
terminals available, RA readalike queries they have to use NoveList  
to answer and process the results in a group.

Brainstorm a year's list of display ideas to promote reading and the  
collection.
