(This message is being cross-posted to several lists. My apologies for
any duplication.)

Our library system is currently reviewing issues of balancing security
and functionality for staff as well as public access computers. At this
point, the standard staff and public PC builds lock out right-click menu
access for almost all applications (MS Outlook is an exception for staff
computers). I am looking for some guidance in facilitating discussion
between our IT department and our librarians in evaluating the various
options for managing right-clicking and the pros and cons of each. Most
of the documentation that I have found online describes how to disable
right-clicking without discussing the reasons you would want to (or want
not to). I would appreciate any tips or pointers to a more thorough
discussion of the issues.

Thanks in advance for any time and knowledge you can spare.
