[Publib] youtube--blog--copyright question

Youtube videos are meant to be shared, yes?

So I could legitimately pull a youtube video into a post on the library's
blog if I wanted, yes? Bloggers do it all the time. All I have to do is
invent a hook that gives me an excuse and voila.

But the videomaker has put a Sarah Brightman song as the soundtrack to his
footage. Tilt. Surely I don't get to have a fourminute Sarah Brightman song
playing on our blog...

Of course I could just point to it with a link. Might do so. But, in fact,
hunting around just now I found a news item that implies I ought not even
to link to it, or anyway that some copyright-holders would like to make it
so.

Thanks for your advice or opinions.
