Dear friends:
I want to organize storytelling sessions in the library I work in. There are
series of tales and stories in aboriginal languages such as quechua, aymara
and languages from the ethnic groups of the amazonian region of Peru.
The fact is that stories have to be told in spanish, because we are in Lima.
But I want to know how could I make the story telling in spanish "dialogue"
withn the orginal language version (that is quechua, aymara, etc). So ideas
that they gave were:
1. Put the original language version in atapein off.
2. Distribute bilingual version in leaflets.
I really do not know how could I reivindicate the originall anguage at the
same time as maintain the narrative, without boring the people.
Hope I have been clear in this
Thanks in advance sor any help.
