[Publib] Art display policies?

Now that we have buildings with areas which could properly display artworks,
we're faced with the need for - you guessed it! - a policy. Such a document
should probably address whether or not items can be listed for purchase,
where such transactions would or wouldn't occur, the library's liability for
theft or damage, etc.
An additional can of worms would involve whether works to be displayed would
be "juried" or would be first come first served. This can of worms might
also address "community standards;" what do we do with a picture of a
"nekked woman," or, not to be sexist, man?
Any thoughts, ideas, cautions, sad tales would be welcomed. Of course,
successful policies would be wonderful, especially if we can borrow!
