I'm half Jewish and 100% gay, or at least leaning that way on the Kinsey
scale, so the only time I have ever been excited to see Mel Gibson was when
his mug shot was in the newspapers. Ach! Der Schadenfreude!

I'm not one of your female employees, or your patron, for that matter. But
while your lot is not an easy one, think about the employee-or
patron-offended by Gibson but perhaps not comfortable stating that given the
oohs and ahhs he seems to elicit. Two people... make it many more. 

There are many READ posters available. Do what you must... I guess I'm just
glad I'm not in the meeting where I'm trying to explain why the idea of Mel
Gibson promoting my profession simply depresses me.
