[Publib] Amazon

Hi!

I think they market special accounts to libraries as well. I
know we have the same situation as Kelly, where our tax exemption
statement is on file (SD does not issue nos.) and we are not charged
tax. I think one time Amazon goofed, but they credited us quickly. And
we have three different people ordering here from Amazon, each with
their own account, but I think each had to fax the statement in as well.

                        Donna

Have any of you tried Amazon's library services? Are there advantages?

ties in

We have experienced a problem purchasing from Amazon because of tax-free
status. We get an invoice for each shipment, then we have to request a
credit for the tax for each invoice. They wouldn't take our tax number
and just omit the tax. When they broke strung out the deliveries and
broke up the order into a lot of small pieces, this became a deal
breaker for us.

Has anyone else been able to fix this problem???
