POSITION: Information Services Associate #26-212, Columbine Library (20
hours per week)

Located in spacious Clement Park in southeast Jefferson County just
outside Denver, Columbine Library is a lively, active facility serving a
population of about 99,500. The staff of 26 provides reference services
for children and adults, access to Jefferson County's extensive Online
Library, about 185,000 items on library shelves, and numerous free
programs for all ages. The adult area offers peaceful views of the Rocky
Mountains and a neighboring lake. Chatfield Reservoir is close by for
boating and fishing, and residents enjoy Jefferson County's extensive
hiking trails in the area.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and minimum 1year of experience in
customer service or extensive public contact work, or any equivalent
combination of training and experience which provides the required
knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be able to work some evenings,
holidays, and weekends. Spanish speakers encouraged to apply.

DUTIES: Provides reference assistance to patrons, using online and
manual searches, electronic databases, community resources and online
referrals to partner library systems. Assists and instructs patrons in
using equipment necessary to access library resources. Uses high-level
customer service skills to create a positive, inviting atmosphere for
all patrons.

HOURLY WAGE: $1,279.20 Monthly (20 hours per week)
