Immediate full-time opening for Department Head responsible for children's 
services. 

Librarian - Head of Children's Services. We are losing our gem of a librarian 
to the piney woods of Maine. Immediate opening for professional individual to 
continue established story times and school and community outreach in a small 
friendly seacoast public library. Even-tempered applicant must like children, 
be energetic, personable, and knowledgeable in children's literature. 
Individual will be responsible for collection development and programming and 
will supervise a staff of two. Requirements are an MLS or equivalent degree 
with 3 years experience working with children. The position is full time, 37.5 
hours, with benefits, including one evening per week and one Saturday a month. 
Newly established pay scale sets salary based on professional experience.
