Our little slip of paper says:
Please - Next Time
TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE
...as soon as you enter the Library.
Why?
It's considerate of others
It helps to guard your privacy.
Thank you!
I don't think we've ever offended anyone with our little card. I did have one guy who took it, read it, and started laughing hysterically, "Oh my God, I got a ticket!!!"
> I have heard about libraries having a statement written on a card or bookmark that they can hand to the offending patron and wondered if anyone has had success with that and if so, what the wording might be. Thanks in advance for any help you all can offer!
