[ILL-L] OCLC vs Clio stats

FWIW- because ILL's monthly reports are due at the same time every other
JPL department's are due, we have to use ILLiad's monthly reports. At
one time, I read in a listserv- that the stats were covering a different
time period. To muddle things further, ILLiad Borrowing's stats are way
off from reality because ILLiad counts a Borrowing request as filled
with the month's stats for when it was requested. For example, an item
requested in September but filled in October will count as a fill for
September.

It really skews the stats.

Another factor may be -as is the case for Borrowing in ILLiad- CLIO may
count the total number of requests you receive rather than the number of
requests that were sent off sent off. Andrew- do you have Direct
Request turned on? If so, that may somehow account for some
discrepancies.

Our stats never match from Clio to OCLC either. Please respond to list
if you have ideas why this happens. Thanks.

Subject: [ILL-L] OCLC vs Clio stats

Hi all,

I'm starting to use Clio for statistics instead of OCLC (mainly
because it seems to take OCLC 3 weeks to finish processing stats) and
I'm noticing a difference in the numbers that I'm getting. OCLC's are
always higher with # of total requests than what I get in Clio, but I
can't figure out where the discrepancy is. All the other numbers
appear to match. Anyone seen this before and know what's going on?
