[ILL-L] Holiday Closings?

ANG is going lower case from Dec.14-Jan.4. The reason it's such a long time is because we are in the process of remodeling and there's some asbestos abatement that needs to be done before the remodeling can start.

The University of Great Falls is closed Dec 24-Jan 3.  Campus is completely closed and they turn the heat down and the only office open is Admissions (to take care of those last minute enrollees.

All-

I'm trying to get a handle on our staffing needs for the Christmas holidays and have been asked to formally gather some numbers from the interlibrary loan community.
So, I'm looking for the following information:


1)       Are you closing/going lower case the week between Christmas and New Year's?

2)      If not, are you just closing for the actual day (Christmas Day or New Year's)?

3)      If you are open over the holidays, do you have a policy in place to manage the expectations of your patrons about delivery?

If your library is closing that week, feel free to say so as well.  All this info will be kept anonymous, even from my bosses.  I'm happy to post numbers and a summary of whatever I receive.
