[ILL-L] WorldCat Resource Sharing - errors updating requests

Yes, we had one that we updated to Returned in Clio and it wasn't updated in OCLC, but others were. I just sent 11 renewal requests from Clio to OCLC and only six got updated, the other five came back as errors and I updated them manually - bad news!

Over the past 4 days,  libraries have encountered intermittent errors while updating requests to returned in WorldCat Resource Sharing

and via the ILLiad interface.  In WorldCat Resource Sharing an error message is displayed stating that an error occurred in the execution of this action.

In ILLiad users are seeing a server exception error in the OCLC status box.

Our development team has identified the fix for this problem and it will be implemented at 9:00 pm EST tonight, Thursday November 12th.

You may see a brief interruption in service if you are logged in at this time.  After the installation, the request database will be scanned to confirm that all affected records have been remedied.


This scan will be completed by 9:00 am EST Friday morning.

We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience that this has caused.
