[ILL-L] Thank You Notes

Any thank-you notes we send with the items are handwritten on the
paperwork (or book strap or sticker label on the front of the book). My
predecessor did this, so I continued the tradition. I have since passed
the torch onto a new staff member, who in turn does the same thing. I
like to let the borrowing library know we appreciate them allowing our
patrons to use their items.
Thanks,
Kimberly Bridges

little mass produced "thank you" notes for our lending activity. They
are meaningless to me. When I get those things I am annoyed because it's
one more action I have to take on that transaction--dispose of it.

lending end, showing appreciation for the rare or unusual thing that we
sent out. Those are great to receive.
