[ILL-L] ILL to Emeritus faculty?

Northwestern University emeritus faculty continue to have valid NU ID, and
as such are eligible for borrowing services. I can't speak for the Main ILL
department, but here in Transportation any articles for emeritus faculty are
delivered electronically, while returnables must be picked from a hold shelf
at the main library's circulation desk (we don't handle our own
circulation). If the faculty member can't get to the library, we'll put the
material under the name of a proxy borrower for pick up. We get relatively
few requests for this service, though we do have one emeritus faculty member
to whom we still provide articles on occasion as well as tables of contents
through our current awareness service.

Subject: [ILL-L] ILL to Emeritus faculty?

Do any libraries provide ILL to Emeritus faculty? If so, how? If not, why
not? Thanks for any insight.
