[ILL-L] new scanner: Ariel compatibility

Greetings,

I'm new to this listserv and this thread but I'm in the process of 
searching for a new scanner myself. Our library is currently running 
Ariel 4.1.1. and we're hoping to obtain ILLiad this summer so I need to 
find a Twain-compliant scanner which will work with Ariel. I went to the 
http://www4.infotrieve.com/ariel/ariscan.html page but I don't believe 
it's been updated for awhile.

So far, the Fujitsu fi-6770 Color Scanner with Duplex Document Scanning 
looked like the best choice but the cost is rather steep. We have been 
looking at the HP ScanJet N8460 Document Flatbed Scanner. So I'm 
wondering if anyone out there is using this HP ScanJet N8460 scanner 
with Ariel and if they're happy with it.
