[ILL-L] Thanks for the favor

Dear Colleagues,

Thanks to those who have checked for me concerning the binding of Themes in Contemporary Art (ours is a hard cover edition without the dust jacket--those of you who have the back cover of a mermaid holding a pink panther sounds most interesting!).

Apparently GUA got the only copy in the world of this book with pages misbound ((just as last week when firewall problems made GUA the only library in the world with broken access to OCLC) !! They say things happen in threes, so I apologize in advance if you hear from me soon about some other weird occurrence unique to GUA affecting ILL (just kidding--I hope!!).

Again, thanks for those who took the time to check for me. Local protocol requires us to turn the book over to Preservation and they submit an ILL request to us, so it will be a few days before somebody out there gets a request from us. Thank you all again.
