[ILL-L] Damaged/Lost Materials in US Mail

We just received several boxes of books another library was giving to us for the cost of postage.  The largest box had been slit open at the bottom and the entire contents pilfered in the time period between when it left their library and arrived at ours.  In ILL we rarely send out large boxes of items to a library, but our staff will now be reinforcing the tape at the bottom of boxes as well as at the top.  We will be watching our packages much more closely from now on.
