[ILL-L] Microfilm to PDF w/OCR

Our microfilm machine is not currently connected to a computer, although I have been told that it does have that capability. My faculty member appears to have found a local company (in Portland) which will do this for him. I did receive other suggestions for two other for-fee companies that digitize; if anyone is interested in that information, you can email me off-list and I'll share. In this case, it's a personal copy of microfilm which would only be used for his own research purposes, so (in my opinion) copyright does not seem to be an issue here.
Thanks to those who offered suggestions,
K.

I'm also interested to hear if anyone's explored the copyright implications
of digitizing their microfilm resources for ILL purposes. Thanks!
