Agreed! When we had paper forms I would flatly refuse to fill them out for people unless the patron has a physical disability. Much to the dismay of a small portion of our patrons, laziness did not count.

As far as I am concerned. If they don't have the time to fill out the
form, they don't really want the item.

Well, it saves THEM time. I think I''ve already told the story of the
patron who requested 126 items simultaneously--but only filled out one
form. When I explained we needed one form per request, he told me, "YOU
fill them out." (So I did.)

So here is one for you:
I just got a request from a patron who used one request form for five
different books. They listed all the book titles in the title line of
the form and just separated them using commas. Brilliant!
