[ILL-L] Getting rid of Ariel, anyone?

I'm curious to know if there is an accurate way to get a count of how many libraries (particularly LVIS libraries) use Odyssey? When I use the Policies Directory, and use advanced search, I can only select Illiad-Odyssey, and I only get 473 hits. I suspect there are many more libraries using Odyssey stand-alone, but don't know where to get that info. My supervisors have asked about it, as we may not be able to use Ariel much longer.

Thanks!

We shut Ariel down at the end of the fall semester. Initially I missed wiping one of the places in OCLC that said we used it, but I think I've got it all cleaned up now, and everything has been going okay.

While we had quite a lot of Ariel usage 4 or 5 years ago when we started using it, turning on Odyssey dropped its usage to a trickle. Since we still take fax and e-mail delivery (and prefer Odyssey when at all possible), it's working out.

The computer for Ariel no longer has to be left on 24/7, and while the electricity savings for turning off one computer (except for scanning - it's still our scanning station) are small, they do add up.
