[ILL-L] courtesy borrowers?

Hi! Certainly! Courtesy borrowers are community users who are not our
primary clientele-faculty, students, and staff at Washington University
in St. Louis. We have some groups who are extending courtesy privileges
as they are visitors to the university. But, we have special/elite
groups who get library access as they have donated to the university
and/or library.
Does this help?
Thanks!
Steph

Hi Steph - I guess I need clarification on what a "courtesy borrower"
is. Once I can understand that, I'll be able to give you an answer. :D

Hi! I'm trying to find an academic library that allows interlibrary
loan for courtesy borrowers. If not all courtesy borrowers, are their
specific groups that you make exceptions for?
My general understanding is that this is not a common practice. But, I
wonder if anyone is rethinking this policy.
Thanks.
