[ILL-L] ARIEL - upload documents?

That's a nice way to handle that. That allows you to get around Ariel taking control over your scanner so you don't have to shutdown Ariel in order make scans for Odyssey. And I presume that the scanning program gives you more options in the scanning process than you get in Ariel making it easier to edit out black lines in the scan or just fiddling with settings to create a better scan.

Hmm I might have to consider doing that with my set-up to make my Ariel station more versatile.

Kate,

We have ARIEL 3.4, ODYSSEY, and a new scanner. We have a Global 360 scanning program also on the same computer. My staff scans ARIEL articles in the Global 360 imaging program. They save them by the IL#s in a folder on the desktop. We then open ARIEL and there is an import feature that allows us to import and send the articles that we have saved as TIFF files.

This saves lots of time.

If you have anymore questions, please let me know.

Thanks.
