[ILL-L] Borrowing vs Lending

Uh-oh-we've borrowed 134 more books than we've loaned this year, and our fiscal year ends on June 30. Would someone please request 134 books from us?
It would be ideal to have the borrowing and lending stats match, but that isn't realistic. Large universities are going to get more requests than a small college like mine because we have more books (though some people seem to be unclear on the concept-we once had an instructor who was stunned to find we didn't have a farily obscure book in our library, and said "But they have it at the University of Georgia!").
But seriously, folks-we're trying to boost our lending statistics (they've fallen a bit the past few years, as have our borrowing stats), so please feel free to send your requests to GLG. We don't charge for book loans or copies, and we lend new books (though not A/V).

Subject: [ILL-L] Borrowing vs Lending
One comment made to me was that ILL lending and borrowing stats need to be
the same, not one larger than the other.
Have any of you heard the same comment?
