My favorite ILL Lending requests involve our local newspaper- the Florida Times-Union.  At least once a week I'll get a request asking us for the loan of the Times-Union.  Not the loan of the microfilm (which we don't do anyway)- the loan of the Times-Union.  No date is specified.  I usually condition this as non-circulating with a note of how much we'll photocopy for an article request.  This week was a banner week. In one day, I had 5 requests for the Times-Union from two institutions.  One of the institutions agreed to my 3 conditionals stating that the Times-Union was non-circulating. 

One of our perennial requests is for a book called Forty Years a Hooker.  I wonder if anyone is disappointed when they find out that the book is about fishing.

	I once had a talk with another ILL librarian in DC with a large picture collection who mentioned a patron coming in and asking for picture of dinosaurs. She gave the patron pictures of dinosaurs, but the patron insisted of actual pictures taken 65 million years ago.....
