[ILL-L] ARIEL/SCANNER PROBLEM

Has anyone run into this problem?  For some reason last week, our hp scanjet 5590 put a glitch in using the ADF.  We can flat bed scan, but not use the Automatic Document Feed with the preview.  We get this message:

     Assertion failed!
     C:ProgramFiles\Ariel\WinAriel.exe
     C:\WinAriel\source\Scanner.cpp
     Line 74
     Expression: False

I've checked the settings in Ariel and can't find anything different that it always has been.

We have been running Ariel and Odyssey on the same machine for six months without any problem.  I though maybe the scan function in Odyssey was messing up the scan function in Ariel, but I'm not sure.

I've tried to find the files mentioned above on my computer without any luck.
