[ILL-L] no Ariel yet

Thanks for the help. I did save it, and just moved it into the Ariel
folder.  Maybe the computer has a different name or IP address? The I.T.
guys are looking into it.

Ed,

 

If you copy your old arielwin.ini file (you did back that up, didn't
you?) to the new installation, make sure the new computer has the same
name and IP address as the old one, you should be good to go without
reregistering the program. Also make sure that any necessary ports are
open in both Windows Firewall (I'm assuming you're on XP) and the
network firewall,

Has anyone had this problem:

 

We changed Ariel computers, so the IP address of the computer changed,
and they made it the IP of the old computer the IP on the new computer
so it can communicate with the local network. I installed Ariel 3.4 with
Ariel's help, but I can't register it. 

 

Anyway, or Ariel is still down, sorry for the delay,
