[ILL-L] New mailing list for Document Delivery and Resource Sharing: DOCDEL-L

Dear Colleagues,
 
The IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing section have identified that there is a need for a mailing list for the IFLA community who are specifically interested in matters relating to Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery and the broader field of Resource Sharing, to communicate with each other. We also have a need for the IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing section to be able to communicate directly to the broader DDRS community, and for you to communicate with us.
 
We are very happy to announce that we now have a new IFLA mailing list as follows:
 

	"DOCDEL-L

	

	A discussion list for librarians, information professionals, and document suppliers to discuss the generic issues pertaining to delivering information to users via document delivery and interlibrary loan, as well as the broader issues involved in resource sharing. This list also provides a vehicle for the IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Standing Committee to communicate matters relating to the Committee's work to the broader document delivery and resource sharing community. 

	DOCDEL-L mailing list is restricted to subscribers, and will be moderated: you need to subscribe to the list to submit & receive messages 
	If you wish to subscribe to this list, the web interface is here:   http://infoserv.inist.fr/wwsympa.fcgi/info/docdel-l     and you will find an option to subscribe."
