[ILL-L] Note on the passing of Les Morris

Hello Everyone:

I am writing with some sad news of the death of an active member of this listserv.

Les Morris, the editor and founder of the Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery, and Electronic Reserve passed away in December after a brief illness.

As Issue 2 of Volume 19 of the Journal of Interlibrary Loan goes to press, reflections on Les Morris's contributions to the field of librarianship in general, and interlibrary loan in specific, are welcomed.  Comments, reflections and/or stories gathered through 1/21/09 will be incorporated into a introductory piece in this issue.  A later issue will contain some of his editorials, as well as a longer reflection on his life and work.  To post a message, please visit:
