[ILL-L] Ariel problem - Error while connecting to DataBase, check for the DSN

We have had that message before.  We restarted the computer again, this
time waiting until it was complete re-booted (...When the light stops
blinking.) and then opened Ariel.  That did the trick for us.

This morning I had to restart our Ariel computer to install updates.
When I tried to bring up Ariel after this, I got the message: 


Error while connecting to DataBase, check for the DSN


Does anyone know what this means? Or how I can fix it?
